I am a writer and journalist. I’ve written for a wide variety of outlets, including The Guardian, Novara Media, New Internationalist, Buzzfeed, Vice, Al Jazeera, Aeon and CNN.
In 2018, I was openDemocracy’s feminist investigative journalism fellow – for which I produced a series of articles tracking the backlash to women’s and LGBTQIA+ rights.
I have been awarded a grant by the European Journalism Centre on two occasions (2017 and 2018), for longterm innovative, international collaborative journalism projects.
I have worked and published internationally, – including in Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and Spain. I speak Spanish.
My writing is usually related to social justice, radical politics and feminism.
I love to write creatively, and I have published pieces in literary magazines, too.
